A white dress, a first smart suit and proud parents. First Communion is a big day for the child and the whole family – and lunch after Mass at Korta is unhurried, by the sea, with dishes that children and adults both love.

Lunch made for the child and the family

The child is the guest of honour, but three generations sit at the table. So we plan the menu so everyone finds something they like: dishes children enjoy, a menu for the adults agreed with you, and your own cake to finish.

The restaurant is accessible for people with disabilities and parking is 30 metres from the entrance, so grandparents arrive with ease.

Space for small and large celebrations

A separate part of the restaurant for celebrations of up to about forty people.

Up to 150 guests in one space for large families or several families celebrating together.

Celebrating together as a class

Some families celebrate First Communion together with other families from the class. Korta has enough room for each family to have its own table while everyone is in one place. Tell us the number of families and the approximate number of guests – we will prepare a suggested layout.

Spring dates

In Istria, First Communions are celebrated in April and May, often on the same weekend in several parishes. We recommend booking a few months ahead, as soon as the parish announces the date.
